Shapes, Fractals and Patterns were all the exploration goals for this piece. Perhaps I was a bit too obsessed with kaleidoscopes when I was a child. Perhaps the soothing nature of watching patterning movements won me over.

This exploration’s idea was simple: take one day and use the essential tools inside Cinema 4D and After Effects to output a piece that felt like organically morphing geometric shapes. The outcome is entrancing and beautiful. The shadows across white create drama. And the executional result makes for a fun one-minute watch.
