Our friends at Bonfire Labs asked us to help them create the video to officially announce this product to the world. This fully-CG piece, created in Cinema 4d and rendered through OTOY Octane showcases the features of the camera as though it is being shot through the camera. The “Russian Doll” effect is meant to show that the camera is layered in complexity, which can literally and figuratively be seen from every angle. This project moved quickly, going from concept to on-site release in 7 days total.
We loved being a part of this revolutionary announcement, and apparently Facebook and RED loved the work we did to showcase it. Executives leading the teams on both sides shared the video, which garnered hundreds of thousands of views by industry leaders in just the first few days.
