The return of Monday Night Football after the pandemic necessitated something extra special to help all the fans celebrate at home. We were thrilled when ESPN approached us to partner on graphics and visual effects for their weekly MNF teases. For Week 2 of the 2021 season, the theme “A Stitch In Time” was the concept in place for the epic, historic rivalry between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions. Spillt tapped me to generate several various thread simulations, working to go from a single thread to a woven tapestry. The end result is a beautiful, dynamic edit that set the table perfectly before kickoff.
